Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

Thankful for the physique God gave me and want to maintain it at a high level. I want to stay strong and active as I age. I want the younger generation to have an example of an older man who still works hard in the gym and defies what cultural norms tell us about aging. For eight years I took care of my mom who struggled with her health. I saw how exercising helped her. I try to apply that lesson to my life now. And honestly, I just don't like wearing a shirt and want to look good shirtless. 💪

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

For over 40 years I have been lifting weights and using cable machines to build and maintain muscle. For cardio I run stadiums (Univ of FL Gators stadium) and sometimes treadmill and stationary bike. Recently I have added some functional fitness training classes into my routine as I have done a couple of SPARTAN RACES this past year. I honestly enjoy working out and challenging myself physically. It keeps me young!! 💪

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use much of that to help others see the importance of fitness. I am a personal trainer and own a gym. I would apply some of the money towards personal training fees for clients to help them cover their costs. Some money could be applied to fitness information and members of my group classes.
