The discipline of it all. I struggled with drug addiction for most of my life. All through my teens and 20s, I experimented with just about every drug you can imagine. I was a full blown heroin and cocaine addict by the age of 16. Started IV drug use at 21 years old and was in and out of prison all throughout my teens and 20s. I started lifting weights for the first time in prison. The rest is history. Grateful for the gift of fitness.
