What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

I have always said it's 90% mental. At 63 my goal is to be healthy enough and strong enough to play with my grandkids! I want to be an example for younger people, older people, singles and married couples! We have been made so much stronger and more capable than most people realize! If you can't see the blessing you can't be the blessing! My passion is to help others reach New heights and just begin to see their potential! My payment is to see the joy and the thrill when someone gets a new PR!

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

As I said it's 90% mental. Talk about instantaneous gratification, that's a workout! The gym is one of the only places where failure is acceptable. In fact we reach for it! If your bones are like 2x4s and your muscles and tendons are like steel cables what is it that you can't do? Usable strength! Rather than lift a thousand pounds for one second, I would rather lift 750 lb for an hour! I love it when you have a group of youngsters all competing for the most reps or weight ! What would you do with $20,000?

I might use some of it for Gym's scholarships. As I've done before. Pay for youngsters to go to the gym to give them some place and something else to do besides get in trouble! Truthfully the hand of God and the gym saved my life! Anything else I'd have to check with the misses, 36 years of marriage and she's always had my back!
