I battled depression quietly, then lost my sister to cancer. She was the one who taught me kindness, generosity, adventure, and how to stay happy/positive regardless of circumstances. After losing her, I chose to control the small things daily to show up as my best self: training, sleep, nutrition, sunlight, and stillness. Health gives me the structure to honor God and her legacy and teach others how to show up strong, grateful, and resilient even when life is heavy.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I train for longevity and balance. Strength training with intention, functional movement, walking outdoors, mobility work, and recovery. I enjoy pushing my limits, but never at the expense of health. Fitness is not about punishment or ego. It is about consistency, resilience, and being physically and mentally capable of showing up for the people who depend on you.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would split it with purpose. Part would be invested to multiply its impact and sponsor young men who need a strong, positive male mentor to help them navigate life. The other part would take my mom on a trip. She has not left Florida in 20 years and has sacrificed everything for me and my sisters. She agreed only because this is prize money. She deserves it more than anyone.
