Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

I am personally affected by chronic illnesses, with family members close to me with cancers, lymphoma, and Parkinson’s. I also have had close friends and relatives struggle with mental heath. These are causes that I am passionate about, and I will continue to fight for them whether I am selected or not. This platform would promote the causes and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I am heavily active with sports. I am an active varsity athlete at Western University playing baseball, an assistant captain of a hockey team, I also play basketball, football, waterpolo, and soccer recreationally. In addition, I consistently lift weights as I love building muscle, and being a role model for those in the community. I don’t drink, smoke, or party. Instead, I enjoy the pleasure of discipline, and staying true to one’s values.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would donate a sizeable amount of the winnings to healthcare research and men’s mental health campaigns. Additionally, I would help organize sporting events in the community for kids who don’t have the same opportunities as I have had growing up. Lastly, I would be grateful to be able to donate to my high school, where the athletic department there is struggling behind others in the district. I take great pride in my community, and I will continue to assist the community in any way that I can.
