Receive Text UpdatesI love the competition and camaraderie natty bodybuilding brings. It’s great being around like-minded people both in the gym and on the stage. That being said, at this point in my life, health and well-being are of upmost importance. I was prescribed large doses of medication (cholesterol, blood pressure etc.) after the stroke, but it wasn’t long after starting my bodybuilding journey that my numbers significantly improved and I no longer need to take synthetic meds of any sort!
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?High intensity, low volume resistance training is my favorite way to build muscle. I use a combination of free weights and machines. Generally 3 to 4 exercises per muscle group for a total of 8 to 10 sets. Half of those sets are to failure and beyond. For cardio, I like to take power walks around my neighborhood with my lovely wife and daughter.
What would you do with $20,000?The money would definitely help to pay for our daughter‘s college education. She’s studying to become an elementary school teacher like her Mom.
