Receive Text Updates. At 64, going on 65, fitness fuels me because it prepares me for the years ahead. I plan to keep working for at least another decade, and I want to do it strong, healthy, and capable. I’m still a work in progress—about 20 pounds overweight—but training keeps me focused and improving. Most of all, I want to show that age doesn’t limit strength or muscle, and inspire others my age to keep moving forward.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Nothing fancy—just work. I train four days a week with structured strength workouts, keep my diet disciplined (not perfect), and move constantly. I log about 15,000 steps at work four days a week and stay active outside the gym. I could do more cardio, but consistency is my edge. I believe staying strong and lean comes from showing up, grinding daily, and never letting age slow the effort.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, I’d use it to ease some real-life weight by paying down debt and creating stability. At this stage of life, that kind of relief means focus, peace of mind, and the ability to keep showing up strong. This wouldn’t be about flash or ego—it would be about moving forward with less stress and continuing to prove that consistency and effort still matter.
