When I was shot and almost killed, I was told by surgeons that the muscle density in my leg slowed the bullets down. Therefore they stopped and there is a nine inch section where the bullets rest on the femoral artery. I figured I would now take it one step further, hired an ifbb pro as a coach and going to achieve my goal of getting my men’s physique pro card. I also want to show my daughters that you can do anything you put your mind to no matter how big the obstacle.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I train 5 days a week with weights and cardio per my coach, and take 2 rest days for recovery. I love the feeling of getting a great pump and then obviously fuel myself with whatever meals are on my meal prep. My philosophy on it is a body in motion stays in motion. I can fill you in with more details of my journey if I am selected to proceed further.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would honestly invest most of it so that I can help pay for my daughter’s college etc. I would also like to take my family on vacation because this has been a journey for my whole family. I now have 24/7 nerve pain, can’t fully use left leg. I also have severe PTSD and Severe Anxiety, which I now have a Service Dog for to help me mitigate the troubles I now have. I would forever be grateful for the opportunity to win, but to also show other individuals that life is what you make it
