The grind of it. Or what I’ve always called it. THE TASK. When I step into the gym and the headphones go on, nothing in the world matters. The bills, the kids, the job. Its just getting the Task completed. In that short window of time my mind is empty. The only thing that matters is the next rep the next set. It’s also spiritual for me. It’s when I feel closest to God. I can hear him more clearly. Pain has a way of making you see more clearly.

I love the weights. It’s the greatest equalizer. It’s simple. I heard it said once that the best part about lifting is it’s the only thing that doesn’t acknowledge you. The weights do not discriminate, if you can’t pick them up you can pick them up. It’s that simple. It’s that beautiful. There is no better way to describe it. I love getting out in nature and exploring. Hunting, hiking with the kids when we camp, anything outdoors. Anything that keeps me active I love.

I would really like to get into being able to coach more people. Not an influencer but a teacher. I love helping people. I never thought I’d be good at personal training or coaching but I have a knack for it. I LOVE seeing their confidence SKYROCKET. I love helping people see their full potential. Teaching them it’s the little wins that build the momentum to keep driving forward. It’s just an awesome job I get to do! Using the winnings to help get my business moving more would be a huge help.
