Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

Ever since I was younger I always looked up to my parents. They were strong and capable. My dad loved lifting as a hobby and my mom was always active with gardening. I noticed from their lifestyle that being healthy and fit was the way to go. I asked to join sports and did track, wrestling, and cross country. I fell in love with being active and then the gym got introduced to me. The idea of working a muscle to make it bigger and better made me strive to get a physique that is unique to me.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I enjoy lifting weights the most. But since I’m in the USMC body weight training and high intensity training has been an extremely enjoyable experience. I used to hate running, I still do, but now I say “I don’t want to run, but I have to”. It reminds me of the discipline in us.

What would you do with $20,000?

Im a big family guy. If the opportunity ever came around I would give half to my parents as a thank you for raising me the way they did. Being in the military made me realize how important it is to appreciate those who have brought us up in this world. Not everyone gets to experience the fortunate lives our parents are able to give us. All they’ve ever wanted was for us to have a better life. And for the other half to save up for the future. I want to get into real estate after the USMC.
