What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

As a 62-year old NPC natural bodybuilder and former 8 year cancer survivor, I am deeply committed to inspiring and assisting those around me in embarking on a fitness journey. My aim is to promote physical activity as a means to mitigate the effects of and to prevent potential health concerns for those in their older years. Nothing is more satisfying then seeing a person you helped develop or provided advice to achieve goals in their fitness journey. Such a blessing.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

I’ve trained as a bodybuilder for over 30+ yrs. Currently as a competitive bodybuilder, I do two (2) workouts per day / morning cardio & afternoon lifting session, 5 days a week and fast between 8:00pm - 9:00am. I also maintain a high protein diet regime - 1gram per body weight = 200 grams per day. Carbs vary per yearly goal. My goal for 2026: Natural Pro Card!!! Train as a lean bodybuilder for the year keeping BFI around 11-15% and compete in November at the Ben Weider Natural Pro Am.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love to develop a social platform to help and encourage others in my age group start their fitness journey including training vids for beginners, healthy factoids by Dr’s, nutritional advice, etc.. I’d also donate money and time to the local homeless shelters as the fitness journey starts with good nutrition.
