Receive Text UpdatesI have found sports that I love doing, so it's never a chore to do a workout. Running has been my favorite since 1972, but with the abundance of duathlons available, my love for biking and competing has exploded. Although lifting comes in third, I still hate to miss a workout. I have tracked my progress for 54 years!
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?Running four days a week (22 miles), biking twice a week (50+ miles), and lifting three days a week hits the sweet spot for me. I coached high school cross country for 42 years which kept the flame burning and also influenced many guys to continue a healthy lifestyle.
What would you do with $20,000?Both of my adult children are into fitness, probably because they saw me running, biking, and lifting their entire lives. I'd probably split the money between them, because the cost of gym memberships is through the roof and I don't want them stopping because it's too expensive.
