I like to help motivate people to stay healthy and go to gym, at the same time I get to learn more about people, their stories, and telling my story which inspires them to stay healthy too.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I love weightlifting to help battle the mental strain that my health has on me. I also am forced to eat small portions of healthy meals so that I don’t feel sick, which is a side effect of my chemotherapy. I have been weightlifting since I was in my 20s and it’s always been the one consistent thing in my life.
What would you do with $20,000?I am starting a nonprofit organization for cancer patients to raise money for cancer research and to spread awareness of my kind of cancer. Multiple myeloma is not well known but many people are beginning to get this diagnosis and my goal is to make people more aware of this kind of cancer and build a community that brings people, with all types of cancers, together.
