Receive Text UpdatesIn my early 20's, I was maliciously injured on the job, from my head to my toes, I was in pain, depressed and wasn't sure what to do. Insurance and doctors gave up on me I had to figure it out myself. I turned to fitness. I rehab my damaged knee and then the rest of my body. Later, I was diagnosed with AFib. Even after an AFib diagnosis, hospitalization, and heart surgery, I refuse to stop. My fitness is my lifeline; despite these challenges, I continue to strive. I refuse to quit.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?I work out at the gym three to four times a week. I strive to live my life as cleanly as possible. Clean diet /lifestyle. No shortcuts for me. I like to train hard, break a sweat, get my heart pumping and feel it in my muscles. If I'm not sore the next day, I didn't do enough. Have patience; nothing happens overnight. Opportunity plus time equals progress. #donthateparticipate is my motto and serves as my motivation.
What would you do with $20,000?I will use this to fuel my fitness journey, break through barriers, and ensure I’m here for my family. My path must mean something—a real example that when life builds impossible walls, they can be climbed. I want others to look at my progress and say, “If he can do it, so can I.” I’ll protect my health to stay strong for those I love and empower everyone I meet to silence defeating voices, fight for their well-being, and push past the limits that once made them feel powerless.
