Connect What fuels your passion for health and fitness?

I lived my 20s obese. Ate bad food and focused on my career more than my health. As I got older, my children and my health became more important. Having more quality time. My passion in health and fitness came from my desire to be there, healthy for my children. My witnessing of friends and family gaining excess weight. I learned what I had to do to heal myself. Went back to school and started my own training business. I know how unhealthy some people feel, can sympathize and help.

What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?

My fitness journey started by me working out at the gym, walking, and running. I am currently a 1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu, do Muay Thai, work out at gym, walk and run, and am a personal trainer. I’m active even while I’m working. I also eat high protein, healthy fats, and low carbohydrates. Fast 16-20 hours a day. We all need to focus on food, working out, and proper rest to stay fit.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000 I would use some to grow my personal training business by buying more equipment to use, advertising, and paying off some debt from my business startup costs. I would also like to take my 3 adult children on a vacation. I think family time is important and one of my biggest motivations to be healthy!!
