Growing up wasn’t easy with a poor family. At a young age I rode my bicycle to the gym. I think I may have been 14 years old. From that day, I told myself I would never stop. If I couldn’t make it to the gym, I would do push-ups or anything to keep my body moving. It is something that no matter what it was not gonna be taken away from me. I would always find a way and it became a lifestyle. Staying healthy and fit keeps you young. It’s not only good for the body. It’s good for your mind.

I’ve tried many different things. I was a competitive athlete. I played football. I wrestled through high school. I got into MMA which consisted of Muay Thai kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu. I also did CrossFit for a while . As I aged, I had to let some of those things go, but one thing that I never stopped doing was lifting weights. That has been always my foundation. I keep my training very simple with a push / pull / legs split. I don’t try to lift very heavy. Control ( time under tension ).

If I were to win this, I told myself that I would want to give back in some sort of way. Of course, the money would help me in a lot of ways but also for me to give back as well. Especially kids these days. Maybe they don’t have the means of a gym membership or someone to show them how to work out? With the extra $$ I would like to help with that.
