After a cancer diagnosis, I made a conscious decision not just to survive, but to stay functional, strong, and mentally present. While many people are told to slow down, I focused on controlled movement, joint integrity, circulation, and consistency. Exercise wasn’t about aesthetics — it was about self-preservation. I call it Thrivers to Alivers.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?My favorite way to train is through daily functional movement — walking, running, mobility work, and body-weight control — done consistently and intelligently. I focus on circulation, joint health, and rhythm rather than maximal load, adapting each session to how my body responds that day.
What would you do with $20,000?I’d use the $20,000 to invest in longevity, recovery, and advocacy. That means supporting ongoing training and medical recovery, funding mobility and circulation work that keeps me functional, and helping amplify the Thrivers to Alivers message — showing others that movement can be medicine, even during cancer.
