My passion for health and fitness comes from life beyond the gym. I might train for an hour or two each day, but it’s the other 22 hours that matter most. Training gives me the strength, endurance, and confidence to live fully; to take care of my home, walk my dogs, and be present with my nieces and nephews. As an adaptive athlete, fitness isn’t just something I do, it’s what allows me to show up for my life without limits.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?CrossFit. It challenges me mentally, physically, and emotionally. It’s taught me how to adapt, persevere, and believe in my own capabilities. Every workout is a reminder that I’m stronger than my circumstances, and that I belong on the competition floor just as much as anyone else.
What would you do with $20,000?I would travel to more adaptive competitions to represent what adaptive fitness truly stands for. I want to show others that limitations don’t define us, resilience does. If my journey can motivate even one person to believe in what’s possible, then every mile traveled would be worth it.
